The 2024 edition of the SC Cup is set to come off at the Ghana International School after being successfully launched by Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC.
This five-a-side tournament has been made possible as a result of the banks long running partnership with English Premier League side Liverpool FC.
The SC Cup 2024 will be contested for by some clients of the bank who will have the enviable opportunity to visit Anfield, the iconic home ground of Liverpool to watch a live match and also tour the stadium on an all-expense paid trip.
Asiedua Addae, Head Corporate Affairs, Branding and Marketing for Standard Chartered Ghana Bank gave assurances that the mini tournament would serve participants with a good time.
“It is going to be extremely exciting, a time of networking, sharing and having fun but most importantly everyone that participates will have access to authentic Liverpool merchandise.” She told ChannelOne TV.
Previously, Standard Chartered has hosted SC Trophy since 2015 and apart from watching Liverpool FC play live at Anfield the winners have visited the training grounds of the club and received coaching from some Club legends and enjoyed a complete tour of Anfield.
Standard Chartered is the main club partner for Liverpool FC for both the men and women’s teams.
The partnership has been running for the past 14 seasons.
