The Black Galaxies quest to qualify to the 2025 CHAN will be determined on December 20 and December 28 in a two legged tie. The team take on Togo in a friendly game on Wednesday, December 13 in Lome.

Members of Ghana’s team that is made up of local based players will first take on their Nigerian counterparts at home with reports indicating that the game will be hosted at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Winner of the qualifier progresses to compete in next year’s continental championship set to be hosted in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

Senegal are the defending champions with Ghana aiming to qualify to the CHAN for the second edition in a row for the first time since competing in the 2011 and 2014 editions.

At the 2022 CHAN, Ghana got eliminated at the quarterfinal stage after losing 2-0 to Niger with Annor Walker as Black Galaxies head coach.
