Following the recent news of Eric Alagidede, the General Manager of Nsoatreman FC, resigning from his post, the Public Relations Officer of the club, Joel Kofi Gyempeh has said that the news is not true as the club hasn’t received any formal resignation letter from Eric Alagidede
However, he made it known in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports that such news of the Nsoatreman General Manager reportedly resigning isn’t surprising comparing how the season has gone for the reigning MTN FA Cup holders.
“In actual fact we haven’t had a good season so far as compared to last season so whatever news you are hearing so far with regards to Eric Alagidede resigning can be attributed to that and the performance of the club” he said and added that
“I can also confirm to you that officially the club has not received any resignation letter from Mr. Eric Alagidede and that is what I can tell you.”

He further explained that he is surprised and shocked about the news of Eric Alagidede’s supposed resignation as he was with the club’s president discussing ways to get the club back to winning ways after their draw with Dreams FC.

“In terms of that, right after our match with Dreams FC when we drew against them, we had a meeting with management and even with the president present and we had good discussions concerning the way forward to bring out the best of out of our guys… the general manager was there.”

Asked on what the club will do if they received a letter of resignation from Eric Alagidede, Joel Gyempeh said, “if we see what happens then we know our way forward”.
