Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus made his long awaited return from a five game suspension to feature in West Ham United’s English Premier League tie against Leicester City.

However, his return couldn’t spark The Hammers to a win as Leicester City recorded a 3-1 win at the King Power Stadium.

It marked the first win for The Foxes under new manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy who was recently appointed to replace Steve Cooper.

After missing games against the likes of Newcastle, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest for picking up a straight red card against Tottenham Hotspurs and retrospective action punishment, Kudus played 79 minutes in the loss to Leicester.

The Black Stars player was heavily involved in the game as he made 64 touches that included making 31 of 33 passes accurately, completing six of 10 dribbling attempts and winning nine of 16 ground duels.

He connected with his teammates twice in five attempted crosses before subbing out of the game for German striker Niclas Fullkrug.
