Ghana forward Ben Bentil has made his latest move after officially joining French Pro League A side ASVEL; this is Bentil’s third team in the 2024-2025 season.

The 29 year old has played for Israeli side Hapoel Tel Aviv and Italian Serie A side Napoli where he averaged 14.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists.

Bentil’s move comes at a time, ASVEL is dealing with an injury crisis to its frontcourt as Mbaye Ndiaye is lost for the season after rapturing his cruciate ligament.

Joffrey Lauvergne has a calf injury and power forward Charles Kahudi is dealing with an injury leaving ASVEL’s interior virtually decimated. The club ranks second in the 16 team French League standings at the time of writing.
