The FA Cup’s fourth-round draw for the 2024/25 season has set the stage for another thrilling chapter in the competition’s storied history. With replays scrapped, all third-round ties were decided in a single game, using extra time and penalties in some instances.
Following its shocking 1-0 win over English Premier League side Brentford, EFL Championship side Plymouth Argyle have been handed another tough EPL assignment after getting drawn against Liverpool.
Man United beat Arsenal on penalties despite playing most of the second half and all of extra time with a man down after Diogo Dalot got booked for the second time in the 61st minute.
Joshua Zirkzee stepped up to score the winning penalty kick after back up goalkeeper Altay Bayindir saved Kai Havertz’s penalty.
However, the biggest tie of the upcoming round is the game between Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspurs with Chelsea taking on Brighton and Hove Albion and Manchester United drawn against Leicester City in other standout all-EPL matchups.
