Ghana midfielder Amankwah Forson has made it into the SkyBet EFL Championship Team of the Week after delivering a sterling performance in the past round of league games.

Forson came off the bench in the 85th minute and scored twice in the 91st and 94th minute respectively to give Norwich a 2-1 win over Coventry City.

The Black Stars player’s performance was particularly impressive considering the former Red Bull Salzburg player was an unused substitute in seven straight games prior to his winning efforts against Coventry.

He was one of two Norwich players who made it to the Team of the Week as fellow midfielder Kenny McLean of Scotland also made the cut.

After the game, Forson admitted that he had gone through some difficulty but was getting his confidence back up. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
