Black Stars and Norwich City midfielder Amankwah Forson has stated that he is getting his confidence back after enduring some “difficulty”.
He said this in a post-game interview after starring in Norwich City’s stunning comeback 2-1 win over Coventry City in the English Championship.
Forson came off the bench in the 84th minute to replace Kellen Fisher and proceeded to score twice in added on time to get the Canaries the win.
The goals were his first in the 2024-2025 season for Norwich City in 17 games; he has two assists in the ongoing campaign but had missed out on featuring in seven straight league games after enjoying a blistering start to the season.
The former WAFA SC and Red Bull Salzburg player pointed this out and believes that the goals will get his confidence back up.

“I’m getting there (in confidence), as it’s been really difficult but this moment after the game has taken over. That makes me really confident. I don’t think I can ever explain. Having scored two goals with a comeback, so I’m really happy for that” Forson said and added

“It’s been difficult not playing, but after this moment they all come to me and they’re all so happy.”
