Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, believes his team’s game plan was affected by the injury to forward Albert Amoah.
Dr. Ogum pointed this out in his post-game interview after Kotoko drew 1-1 with Medeama SC at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa.
Saaka Dauda replaced Amoah in the 36th minute before fellow starting forward Kwame Opoku scored in the 44th minute for Kotoko.
Kamaradin Mamudu got the equalizer in the 68th minute for Medeama; Amoah has seven goals in 13 games for the Porcupine Warriors and Dr. Ogum believes his absence affected the team to an extent.
“Yes of course-it affected our game plan- because he is an important player in our team and we all know his contribution to our goalscoring department so it will definitely have an impact in the team. We can’t totally say the degree of the injury so we have to wait till the medical team is able to tell us what the extent is.”

Kotoko had a four game winning streak heading into the Medeama clash.
