Le Havre Athletic Club forward Andre Dede Ayew has stated that he felt better as the game involving his side and Olympique Marseille wore on.
Marseille smashed Le Havre 5-1 in the French Ligue 1’s return from the Christmas Break with Dede Ayew scoring Le Havre’s consolation goal in the 85th minute.
The veteran Black Stars player bravely connected his head to a cross from Antoine Joujou from the right side to score his first goal in his second run out with Le Havre.
Dede Ayew scored six goals in 20 appearances in all competitions for Le Havre in the 2023-2024 season after signing for the club late in the campaign.
Ayew spent multiple seasons at Marseille before moving to compete for the likes of Swansea, West Ham and Nottingham Forest in the EPL.

After scoring the goal, Dede Ayew didn’t celebrate and Marseille supporters applauded and chanted his name. In his post-game interview, Ayew stated that he felt good physically.
“As a forward, you can have a bad match but when you score, it is considered a good game and vice versa. I am feeling better, I worked hard during the (Christmas) holidays. I felt it today in this match; the more the match progressed, the more I felt better. I felt better, it bodes well.”
