A former Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Chairman, Kudjoe Fianoo, has credited Minister of Sports and Recreation Designate, Kofi Adams, for making an appearance at the GHALCA Elections.
The incoming Sports Minister was present at the event that had veteran football administrator John Ansah from Ebusua Dwarfs FC overwhelmingly beat Isaac Koomson of Aduana Stars to replace Kudjoe Fianoo as chairman of the association.
Speaking in an interview after the elections, Kudjoe Fianoo was impressed by Kofi Adams’ gesture and commended him for making the move.
“He’s put the right foot forward even before coming into office. To come and show his face, I think this is the first time I’m seeing something like this. Ministers normally coming when we are swearing in the (EXCO) Executive Council.”

“I believe that what he’s done, the first step that he’s taken talks volumes of his readiness to partner with football people to develop our game.”
“ORAL, OPAL operates in every facet of the country, once we have any info to be looked into, we will”
“We don’t expect the Ministry of Sports & Recreation to be excluded, we don’t expect the agencies to be excluded” – Kofi Adams #CitiSports #GhalcaElections2025 pic.twitter.com/eKntVdaepe
