After playing in his latest game as a right full back, Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has stated that he is comfortable playing in any position to help Arsenal but indicated that he prefers playing in midfield.

He said this after playing on the right side of defense in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Aston Villa in the EPL at the Emirates Stadium.

Despite taking a 2-0 lead, Arsenal conceded twice to drop points with Villa’s second goal coming off Partey’s slack marking on Ollie Watkins who ghosted in to score the equalizer.

Quizzed on his preference for playing midfield or right full back, Partey stated that he is comfortable playing any role to aid Arsenal win.

“Well I think the answer is clear but I’m in a team where we all play for each other so I’m very comfortable playing in any position to try to give my best for the team.”
