The League title remains our priority -Nations FC’s Kwame Twumasi Danquah

Nations FC CEO, Kwame Twumasi-Danquah, stated clearly that his team’s ultimate goal for the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League season is to lift the league trophy.

With the second round of the league about to get underway, he remains confident in the team’s ability to achieve this ambitious target.

“Our target for the second round and the entire season is simple; improvement. And ultimately, we are going for the league title. That’s it,”

Reflecting on the club’s progress, he expressed satisfaction with their performance so far, noting an improvement compared to last season, where they finished 7th.

“We can’t complain because it’s an improvement on last season’s performance. Around this “We can’t complain because it’s an improvement on last season’s performance. So last season’s same time we had like 27 points and  so If this is where we are now, it’s a good sign. It’s a work in progress, but we believe we’ll do even better in the second round,”

The Nations FC boss also commended the impact of new signings, such as Raymond Oko Grippman, Faisal Charwetey, and Yussif Alhassan Chibsah, crediting them for their contributions to the team’s success so far.

“The signings we made before the start of the season have been fantastic. The young players we brought on board have been exceptional. It’s been very good,”

As the second round looms, Twumasi-Danquah is optimistic that the team’s recent improvements will propel them to the top of the table.
