Sports and Recreation Minister-Designate, Kofi Adams, has indicated that under his watch as Sports Minister, the National Sports Authority (NSA) will play the role it’s supposed to play as a bridge between the Ministry and various sports federations.

“The challenge we have is the NSA which is the bridge, sometimes it’s not allowed to interface and deal with the GFA (Ghana Football Association) especially when it comes to Black Stars funding. We intend to make sure to restrategize such that NSA plays the role it is supposed to play.”

Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team-the Black Stars- has been the recipient of significant financial backing from successive governments; Kofi Adams has promised to not be a Sports Minister who serves just the needs of the Black Stars.
