In a stunning upset at the 2025 Super Zonals, T.I. Amass, a powerhouse in the Ashanti Regional Inter-School Athletics Competition, failed to qualify for the boys’ and girls’ 4×100-meter finals.

During the heats at Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, both teams dropped their batons at the same spot, leading to their disqualification. The unexpected mishap has left fans and supporters reeling in disbelief.

T.I. Amass boasts an illustrious legacy, with 14 boys’ titles and 9 girls’ titles in the competition’s history. Their elimination from the 4×100-meter finals has sent shockwaves through the event, leaving spectators and analysts scrambling to explain this rare stumble from the dominant squad.

Despite the setback, team officials remain resolute.

They emphasized that T.I. Amass is now channeling its energy into other events, determined to rebound and reclaim their winning form.

Coaches and athletes are reportedly hard at work, regrouping with the goal of securing medals and redeeming their campaign.

With T.I. Amass out of the 4×100-meter contention, rival schools see a golden opportunity to seize the spotlight. The 2025 Super Zonals continues at Baba Yara Sports Stadium, promising fierce competition as teams battle for supremacy.
