Coventry City FC manager Frank Lampard has praised Ghana forward Brandon Solomon Thomas-Asante after the latter’s latest goal in his debut season for Coventry.
Thomas-Asante scored with a brilliant lob just before the half time break in the 44th minute as Coventry beat Swansea City 2-0 in the EFL Championship.
The result marked Coventry’s fourth win a row and Lampard was pleased with the win while highlighting the quality of Thomas-Asante’s goal in his post-game interview.
“It’s an individual moment of brilliance, instinctive, but real quality and as soon as he hit the ‘keeper knew he was in trouble. I’m really happy for him” he said and added that

“These things come off the back of doing all the right things, all the right hold-ups and all the right runs, but that was something outstanding.”

Thomas-Asante has four goals in 29 league appearances; Coventry have moved to 11th place in the 24 team league standings after beating Swansea.
