Ghana international Ernest Nuamah was on target as Olympique Lyon secured a commanding 4-1 victory over Montpellier in their French Ligue 1 clash on Sunday.
The Black Stars winger played the full 90 minutes, delivering an impressive performance that helped Lyon cruise to an emphatic away win at the Stade de la Mosson-Mondial 98.
Nuamah played a pivotal role in the match, scoring and providing an assist to propel his side to victory.

Lyon opened the scoring just three minutes into the game through Georgian international Georges Mikautadze, who was set up by Rayan Cherki. However, Montpellier hit back in the 38th minute with an equalizer from Tanguy Coulibaly, ensuring the first half ended 1-1.
Nuamah sparked Lyon’s dominance in the second half, scoring and assisting within a three-minute span. The former FC Nordsjaelland star found the back of the net five minutes after the break before setting up Corentin Tolisso for Lyon’s third goal.
Experienced forward Alexandre Lacazette sealed the win in the 73rd minute, securing all three points for the visitors.
The 21-year-old has now scored two goals in 16 Ligue 1 appearances this season. Across all competitions, he has registered three goals and one assist in 24 matches.
