Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Osman Ayariga, has stated that six new youth resource centres will be constructed to serve the needs of six recently created regions in Ghana.

He made this known in an exclusive interview with ChannelOne News while discussing the future of the centres that are yet to be completed bar two.

Out of the ten centres constructed in each of Ghana’s hitherto 10 regional landscape, only the centres in the Upper West Region and Eastern Region are fully completed.

While speaking on the issue, Osman Ayariga stated that the uncompleted centres will be completed and six centres will be added.

“The 10 youth development centres that were being constructed (under the past administration) of which only two were completed,…so based on the promise of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, I can tell you emphatically that we shall complete the rest of the youth development centres and also construct new ones to take care of the six other new regions.”
