Ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic and Ghana, Madagascar have released their squad list to tackle the double header.
Madagascar take on Central African Republic March 19 before taking on Ghana on March 24 in Morocco due to Africa’s football governing body, CAF, ruling out the island country’s host venues as an unsuitable location to host the game against the Black Stars.
The 26 man squad is headlined by Acapandie Mathieu of French Ligue 1 side FC Nantes, Hakim Abdallah of FC Dinamo Bucarest and Raveloson Rayan of Swiss side Young Boys.
Madagascar is led by French manager Corentin Da Silva Martins who recently picked up the spot after leading Mauritania to the 2019 and 2021 AFCON competitions.
The upcoming games pairs Madagascar against fifth ranked C.A.R. and second ranked Ghana in Group I; Madagascar rank third with seven points after picking up two wins in four games.

Comoros lead the standings with nine points just as Ghana. Scroll down to see the full list of players called up for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
