The Ghana Manchester United Supporters’ Club (GMUSC) will commemorate Ghana’s Independence Day on March 6, 2025, with a mix of community service and entertainment.
The supporters’ group, in partnership with Buz Stop Boys and Honeysuckle, has planned a two-part event that includes a community clean-up exercise in the morning and a recreational gathering at Laboma Beach later in the day.
Let’s make our community a better place, one clean-up at a time!
– Clean-up exercise: 6am-10am at LA, OPPOSITE PURPLE PUB 🧹
– Fun games & activities: 10am-5pm at LABOMA BEACH 🏖️Bring your family, friends, and a smile!

The clean-up exercise, scheduled from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, will take place in La, a suburb of Accra. The initiative aligns with GMUSC’s commitment to community service and engagement beyond football.
From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, activities will shift to Laboma Beach, where members and participants will take part in various games and entertainment to mark the occasion.
GMUSC, led by chairman and football administrator Samuel Anim Addo, has been involved in several community projects, including a water supply initiative completed in January 2025 to support residents facing water challenges.
This Independence Day event adds to the group’s ongoing efforts to blend football culture with social impact.
