Bibiani Gold Stars head coach Frimpong Manso has stated that his club is still on course to win the Ghana 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League title despite suffering a shock loss to Vision FC.

Gold Stars lost 2-0 to Vision FC at the Nii Adjei-Kraku Stadium with Edward Agyemang and Edmond Asante scoring in the 56th and 86th minute respectively for a win Vision FC head coach Nana Agyemang described as one that “meant the world” to his team. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

Despite the loss, Gold Stars still lead the league standings with 53 points but their lead has dropped with just a point separating them from second ranked Nations FC.

“We have four games left, three of them at home…Even for the away game, we’ll fight for something. We’re still on course to win the league” he said after the loss in a post-game interview.
