The Ghana international, whose last Premier League goal came in on December 15, 2024, in a 3-0 victory against Manchester United. had gone several weeks without finding the net despite an impressive run of form.

Yes, I’ve been praying about it for the last couple of weeks. Whenever a goal will come, just bless me with a goal.

came today relieved. It’s been a while, but again, it happens to every player. So I wasn’t too hung up on it. Just do all the basics I can for the team and then the goal will come he said to AFC Bournemouth TV

Semenyo’s second-half finish at Craven Cottage proved decisive, boosting Bournemouth’s hopes of a late push for European qualification.

After the match, the forward underlined the squad’s determination to finish the season strong and secure a place in a continental competition.

I feel like the manager has been banging on all week about make or break for us with the European journey. We needed to get three points and thank God we got the three points. So on to the next really step by step again he added

The result leaves Bournemouth in the top half of the Premier League table, within touching distance of the European spots. With a handful of games remaining, Andoni Iraola’s side remain firmly in contention to challenge for a UEFA Europa Conference League place.
