Kasim Ocansey Mingle sounded this adamant call in a pre-game interview as Simpson returned to the Nations FC fold after playing in Ghana’s 3-0 win over Madagascar in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
The veteran defender was one of three Ghana Premier League players who were part of the Black Stars and Ocansey is sure that Simpson will be part of his team’s set up against the Phobians.
“A national team player and captain [of Nations FC] who is back, definitely he [Razak Simpson] is going to be part of the team because his performance at the training is okay; he justified to be part of the team” Ocansey said.

In the lead up to the game, Nations rank seventh in the league with 36 points and Hearts rank fifth with 37 points. Scroll down to watch video.
