Secretary General of the Ghana Basketball Federation (GBBF), Rafiq Mohammed Arthur, is hoping that the maiden edition of the 3×3 Hoop Rave Basketball Championship would be as big as the GBBF is imagining it.
The upcoming competition takes place at the Trust Sports Emporium at Bukom from Thursday, April 10 to Saturday, April 12.
42 Senior High Schools (comprising 18 Girls and 24 Boys) have been drawn in groups with the top team in each group and the best second placed team progressing to the next phase from the group stage and the GBBF Secretary General is hoping that the first edition lives up to the federation’s expectations.
“We hope it’s going to be as big as we are imagining it because high school stuff is one of the catchiest things in the country. I hope everybody will be able to turn up and support their school and support basketball in general.”

After Ghana won silver in the Men’s 3×3 Basketball, the GBBF is aiming to develop to compete in the abridged version of the sport of basketball. Scroll down to view the groups.
