The Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) extends its heartfelt congratulations to the men’s 4x100m Athletic Relay Team for their outstanding qualification for the World Athletics Championship, set to take place in Tokyo in September 2025.

The exceptional performance by Ghana’s relay team—Joseph Paul Amoah, Sean Safo-Antwi, Fuseini Ibrahim, Barnabas Aggerh, and Mustapha Alufu Bokpin—at the World Athletics Relays in Guangzhou, China, is truly commendable and a source of national pride.

The men’s 4x100m relay team has consistently showcased Ghana’s abundant sporting talent, inspiring Ghanaians over the years. The GOC acknowledges the team’s hard work, discipline, and dedication, which serve as a shining example for other Ghanaian athletes across various sports.

We are optimistic that this achievement marks the beginning of many more successes that will elevate Ghana to the medal podium in global competitions.

We also extend our congratulations to Ghana Athletics, under the leadership of President Fusseini Bawah, for their unwavering commitment to nurturing world-class athletes.
