Ghana Premier League Statistician Mohammed Shaban believes the path to glory in the fiercely contested 2024/2025 season is simple for the top four clubs: win all their remaining matches.

With just three games left, Nations FC, Bibiani Gold Stars, Hearts of Lions, and Asante Kotoko are at the top of the table with 57, 56, 54, and 54 points, respectively, setting up a thrilling finish to the campaign.

Speaking exclusively with Channel One TV on the title run-in, Shaban stated:

If you look at how close this is, the remaining three matches will determine the fate of these teams. For me, any team that wins all three matches will be crowned champions, irrespective of their current position in the top four.

The league is expected to reach a dramatic climax on June 8, with decisive fixtures set to separate the contenders from the pretenders.

Bibiani Gold Stars and Asante Kotoko, both in the title hunt, will clash in a blockbuster tie that could prove pivotal.

Hearts of Lions are scheduled to play relegation-threatened Young Apostles, while Nations FC face former league champions Samartex FC in what promises to be a stern test.

In addition to domestic glory, a league title would guarantee a ticket to represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Champions League, adding further stakes to the already intense race.
