Ghana Black Satellites forward Abdul Hakim Sulemana has set his sights on being his own man by wanting to go higher than his well acclaimed brother Kamaldeen Sulemana.

Kamaldeen Sulemana-the older brother of Hakim-is with English Premier League outfit Southampton after starring in the French League with Stade Rennes and is regarded as one of the talented wingers in world football.

Speaking in an interview with CAF Media in the wake of Ghana’s exit from the CAF AFCON Under 20 Championship at the quarterfinal stage, Hakim is looking to take the next step in his career by distinguishing himself from his brother.

“He-Kamaldeen- set the standard, but I want to go higher. We all played football in the compound, in the streets-Kamaldeen always pushed me. I admire what Kamal has achieved, but I want to be known for my own journey” Hakim Sulemana stated.
