Hakim Sulemana shared this insight in an interview with CAF Media after winning two Man of the Match Awards in four games at the 2025 CAF AFCON Under 20 Championship.
Sulemana scored a crucial late penalty for Ghana to go level (2-2) with Egypt in the quarterfinals prior to the Black Satellites losing 5-4 in a penalty shootout.
Ghana missed out on qualifying to the AFCON semifinals and the 2025 FIFA World Cup in Chile in the process and Sulemana is already focusing on what lies next after Egypt by stating that,
“My dream is to reach the Premier League, just like Kamal [Deen Sulemana] but first, I want to become a regular at Randers and prove I can make a difference.”

Kamaldeen Sulemana plays in the EPL with Southampton. Missing out on this trip to Chile means Ghana has missed out on making it to the Under 20 World Cup since 2015.
