Head coach of Kpando Heart of Lions, Bahir Hayford, has confessed that his team is fatigued ahead of its big game against Young Apostles on Sunday, May 25 at 15:00 GMT in Wenchi.

Heart of Lions rank third in the Ghana Premier League standings and are firmly in the running to win the league title for the 2024-2025 season.

However, Bashir Hayford, in a pre-game interview complained about the scheduling of games that had the Kpando side play against Basake Holy Stars (ended goalless) in Ayinase only a few days before travelling to the Bono Region this weekend.

“After coming from Nzema Ayinase, straight we are going back to Wenchi; the boys are tired, there is fatigue amongst the boys but we are still working on that so as for preparation, it has been the same only that we are managing their fatigue level so that they can play on Sunday” Hayford said.
