Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has been named as Southampton’s Professional Footballer Association (PFA) Community Champion honouring his service to society.

Sulemana won the award in the men’s category with Meg Collett winning the award in the women’s award for distinguishing herself in this regard.

Managing Director of the Saints Foundation, Sam Fulling, praised Sulemana and Collett for their efforts to improve society by stating,

“This season we’ve been grateful for the engagement of both first team squads in the work we do in the community. Kamaldeen and Meg were standouts even with a strong group. We are proud to present them as our PFA Community Champions for the 2024/25 season.”

Sulemana recently wrapped up his third season competing for Southampton after sealing a big move from French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes.
