Ghana Women’s National Team head coach, Kim Lars Bjorkegren, has named his squad for camping ahead of the upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) tournament.

The Swedish trainer announced a 24-woman squad on Monday, June 16, as confirmed by the Ghana Football Association.

The list features just four home-based players: Kerrie McCarthy, Afi Amenyeku, Comfort Yeboah, and Nancy Amoh.

Also included are Josephine Bonsu, Louisa Aniwaa, Chantelle Hlorkah, and Abigail Kofi Kim, all of whom earned their international debuts under Bjorkegren and have retained their spots.

The Black Queens will camp outside Ghana as part of their preparations for the tournament, which will be staged in Morocco.

Ghana has been drawn in a challenging group alongside defending champions South Africa, Mali, and Tanzania.

The 2025 WAFCON kicks off on July 5, with the final scheduled for July 26.
