Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club striker Albert Amoah scored a hat-trick to lead the Porcupine Warriors to a win 3-2 win over Medeama SC.

The hard fought win was registered at the Baba Yara Stadium in the penultimate round of the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League season.

Amoah scored in the 20th minute from the penalty spot and added his second in the 35th minute before steering a powerful header into the net in the 79th minute off a free kick from Emmanuel Antwi for the winner.

The win extends interim head coach Abdul Karim Zito’s unbeaten run since taking over from Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum to six games including a win over Berekum Chelsea in the MTN FA Cup semifinals.

Beating Medeama also keeps Kotoko in contention to win the title as league leaders Nations FC abandoned their game against Basake Holy Stars in the first half after disputing a penalty incident. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
