Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach, Abdul Karim Zito, has stated that the Porcupine Warriors’ preparation for its final 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season game against Vision FC will double as a preparation for the team’s MTN FA Cup Final matchup later this month.

Kotoko takes on Vision Football Club on Sunday, June 8 in the GPL final round of games in the campaign with Kotoko slated to take on Access Bank Division One club Golden Kick in the MTN FA Cup Final on Sunday, June 15 at the University of Ghana Stadium.

Despite heading into this weekend’s tie ranked third, Kotoko are in still in contention to win the GPL title with the top two ranked teams, Bibiani Gold Stars and Nations FC, having 60 points with Kotoko having 58 points but Karim Zito in a pre-game interview, indicated that Kotoko have eyes on winning both titles.

“We want to use the preparation for Vision to face the FA knockout that we are going to play next week after Vision so we are preparing seriously” Zito said.
