Immediate past Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has congratulated English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspurs for reaching a deal to sign Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus.
He relayed this message on his social media platforms in the wake of the announcement of Kudus’ imminent move from West Ham United to Spurs.
Dr. Bawumia is a Tottenham Hotspurs fan and expressed how happy he was to see the highly rated Ghanaian player on the verge of signing for his beloved Spurs.
“I am excited to see our Ghanaian starboy make this move to my Spurs. All the best in you medical Mohammed Kudus” Dr. Bawumia wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) page.
After a 55 million pound deal was agreed between London clubs West Ham and Tottenham, 24 year old Kudus’ move is subject to a medical that is scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 10. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

Since joining West Ham from Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam, Kudus has emerged as one of the best creative players in the EPL and world football. Spurs will compete in next season’s UEFA Champions League.
