Minister for Sports and recreation , Hon. Kofi Adams, has gifted GH¢10,000 to Asante Kotoko following their comeback victory against Accra Hearts of Oak in the 2025 President’s Cup played on Sunday, July 6, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The much-anticipated encounter saw Hearts of Oak draw first blood in the first half, capitalising on a defensive lapse to take the lead. However, Kotoko responded strongly in the second half, netting twice to turn the tie around and secure a 2-1 win in front of a lively crowd. The match delivered all the drama and intensity expected from Ghana’s fiercest football rivalry.
