Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has penned a farewell note to EFL Championship side Southampton following his departure from the club.
Sulemana recently sealed a four year deal with Italian Serie A side Atalanta for a reported fee of 18 million Euros and is set to feature in the team’s 2025-2026 UEFA Champions League campaign.
By moving to Atalanta, Kamaldeen teams up with Black Stars teammate Ibrahim Sulemana and former Southampton head coach Ivan Juric who occupies the position at the Italian club.
Sulemana spent two and a half seasons competing for the Saints after moving from French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes. His stay at the club had Southampton yo-yo between competing in the English Premier League and the lower tier Championship.
Penning a heartfelt message to Southampton, Sulemana thanked the club and its fans for supporting him stating,

“Through the highs and lows Southampton have been a family. Together we’ve grown through what we’ve been through. For the lessons and development, I wish you the best this season and the future. Thank You Saints. March on Saints!!”
