Former Black Stars captain John Mensah has expressed confidence in Ghana’s chances of securing qualification, provided the team maintains its recent form.
The Black Stars have won their last two matches, keeping back-to-back clean sheets, a run that has lifted morale and reignited belief in the squad’s ability to deliver.
Speaking on the national team’s performances, the ex-defender highlighted the improved chemistry and understanding among the players, insisting that consistency will be key.
“If they play like the way they played the last two games, I believe they can qualify. They are playing well now and they know each other very well. I believe if they keep on like that, they can qualify,” Mensah said.
The Black Stars have shown renewed spirit in recent outings, and Mensah’s endorsement will serve as added motivation as Ghana continues its qualification campaign.
