After weeks of speculation and being forced to train separately from the rest of the team, Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho, has joined Chelsea from Manchester United.
The deal for the 21 year old, is worth 40 million pounds and his contract runs through to 2032 and the South American joins a stacked Chelsea roster particularly on the wings.
After a breakout 2022-2023 season, Garnacho has fallen down the perking order and fell out with Man United head coach Ruben Amorim after he started from the bench behind Mason Mount in last season’s Europa League Final against Tottenham Hotspurs.
In the 2024-2025 campaign, Garnacho registered 11 goals and 10 assists in 58 games in all competitions for the Red Devils and Garnacho described joining Chelsea as an incredible moment.

“It’s an incredible moment for my family and I to join this great club. I can’t wait to get started. I watched the Club World Cup and to join the world champions is special – we’re the best team in the world! It’s amazing to be here and I’m very happy” he said in his first interview as a Chelsea player.
