Ghana midfielder Francis Abu says he is looking forward to making new friends at French Ligue 1 side Toulouse after officially joining the club on a four-year deal.

The 24-year-old Black Stars player joined Toulouse on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee after starring in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League with Cercle Brugge.

With Brugge, Abu made 49 appearances in all competitions, scoring a goal and registering four assists in the 2024-2025 season.

After undergoing medicals successfully and signing his deal, Abu trained with Toulouse for the first time, where he stated his excitement about making new friends at the club.

“Want to say I’m very excited to join you guys. I’m looking forward to making new friends and new teammates and all the best for the season. Thank you” he said.
