Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is looking for ways to get his team to win big games after losing to Liverpool in the biggest game in the third week of the 2025-2026 English Premier League season.

The Gunners lost 1-0 to Liverpool at Anfield with the winner coming in the 83rd minute courtesy a stunning strike from Dominik Szoboslai.

The loss is Arsenal’s first of the campaign after bagging wins without conceding a goal against Manchester United and Leeds United.

Speaking after the game that had defender William Saliba exit in the first five minutes to an ankle injury, the Spaniard believed only a mistake or a wonder strike was bound to settle the tight game.

“It was going to be decided by an individual error or a moment of magic. You cannot dominate here for 90 minutes, it is impossible.”

“At the end of the game, I said we have to find a way to win these big matches. We have to put the ball in the back of the net if you want to win the game” he said to the BBC.
