Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana is on the verge of earning more money at Turkish Super League side Trabzonspor while on loan than his parent club Manchester United.
According to football insider Ben Jacobs, the former Inter Milan player has signed his part of a season-long loan deal to move from Man United to Trabzonspor.
The impending deal is expected to be completed by midweek; Onana is with Cameroon’s national team and started in goal in the country’s 3-0 win over Eswatini.
Per Jacobs’ report, Onana will earn more money than he was earning at Man United via the sign on fee and bonuses to joining Trabzonspor. In the 2024-2025 season, Andre Onana earned $160,908 a week in wages.
Reports of an impending deal for Onana emerged after the main transfer window closed with Man United signing Belgian shot stopper Senne Lammens.

Should the deal get completed, it would bring to an end a disappointing and frustrating time for Onana at Man United. His two prior seasons at Old Trafford have been marked by several gaffes and poor performances in goal.
