Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club head coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani says his team respect what Hohoe United bring to the table and won’t underrate the Ghana Premier League debutants.
Hearts take on Ghana League debutants Hohoe on Friday, September 12 at 19:00 GMT at the University of Ghana Stadium in the opening game of the 2025-2026 league season.
Hearts go into the contest on the back of winning two titles in pre-season including capturing the Democracy Cup at the expense of Accra Great Olympics.
The Phobian club were also unbeaten in the GHALCA Top 4 but even in the face of making significant strides with the new look technical team, Didi Dramani isn’t taking the upcoming challenge lightly.
“This is going to be a very tough encounter, very uncompromising so we need to respect what they bring with their direct football and so we will try to win the spaces, try to bring our identity to play in this encounter” Dramani said to Hearts TV.

Hearts finished fourth in the Ghana League standings last season prior to the hire of Dramani.
