A former Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Board Member, Frank Nelson Nwokolo, has utmost belief in the team’s ability to win the 2025-2026 Ghana Premier League title.
He shared his bold belief in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports on the sidelines of the 2025 Democracy Cup game between Hearts of Oak and Accra Great Olympics.
Hearts of Oak beat Olympics 1-0 via a Kwesi Asmah goal in the 70th minute at the University of Ghana Stadium and according to veteran football administrator Frank Nelson, Hearts have a big chance to win the title because they have a very good coach in Mas-Ud Didi Dramani.
“I believe that this year is the year that we can contest and we are solid to go [for the title] because we have a very good coach” Nwokolo said.

Former Black Stars assistant head coach Dramani was appointed after Hearts finished fourth in the immediate past league season. The Democracy Cup win is Hearts of Oak’s second title win in pre-season.
