Lionel Messi and Jordi Alba’s partnership started at FC Barcelona in Spain, continues in the Major League Soccer (MLS) and Alba is hoping it stays the same till the end of their careers.

Alba made this comment in an interview with ESPN after Inter Miami’s 3-1 win over Seattle Sounders to score its revenge over Seattle. The Sounders beat Inter Miami 3-0 to win the Leagues Cup on September 1.

Messi and Alba scored and registered an assist in the league game win over Seattle; Alba scored in the 12th minute and Messi scored Miami’s second in the 41st minute.

“I’m always looking for him (Messi), he’s always looking for me. We’ve created a lot of goals and we hope it’s like that until the end of our careers” Alba said.
