The 2025 US Open Men’s Final matchup is set for Sunday, September 7 at 18:00 GMT with rivals Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz set to face off.

The biggest rivalry in tennis over the past two years gets to have another chapter as the great duo gets to compete in the final of a tennis major this year for the third time.

At this year’s French Open, Alcaraz fought back to beat Sinner but the Italian got his revenge at Wimbledon and Sinner has the chance to win his second major of the year on Sunday. He won the 2025 Australian Open with a win over Alexander Zverev.

Speaking after beating Felix Auger Aliassime of Canada 6-1, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4, in the semifinals, Sinner talked about his upcoming battle against Alcaraz stating,

“Sunday is a very special day and an amazing final again.”

“We’ll see what’s coming. I feel like our rivalry started here playing an amazing match [in 2022, when Alcaraz beat Sinner in the quarter-finals]. We are two different players now, with different confidence too” according to the BBC.
