Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard has been ruled out of action due to injury until the final international window of the 2025 calendar year in November.

The Gunners confirmed that the Norwegian player has suffered a medial collateral ligament injury that he picked up in Arsenal’s 4-0 win over West Ham just before the international break.

Odegaard has been dealing with a slew of injuries since the start of the 2025-2026 season and the latest injury would have him miss games against Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League and Crystal Palace and Fulham in the English Premier League.

The 26 year old missed out on getting selected to Norway’s team for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers this month due to the injury.

Norway beat Israel 5-0 ahead of an international friendly game against New Zealand on Tuesday, October 14.

Norway lead Group I standings with 18 points from six matches and are in a strong position to qualify to the 2026 World Cup. Norway are aiming to qualify to the World Cup for the first time since 2000.
