Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, who doubles as the starting goalkeeper for Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team, Benjamin Asare, has won the Goalkeeper of the Month Award (September) in the Ghana Premier League.

The shot stopper for the Phobia club won the top award after registering three clean sheets in the immediate past month.

Hearts of Oak picked up 1-0 wins over Eleven Wonders and Dreams FC and drew goalless with Hohoe United in the month of September with Asare in goal.
