Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has delivered a strong message to Liverpool FC ahead of a Carabao Cup clash involving both teams.
Liverpool host Palace at Anfield on Wednesday, October 29 at 19:45 GMT at a time The Reds are dealing with its worst run of form in years.
Arne Slot’s team has won once in five games in all competitions with the run including four losses in a row in the English Premier League.
That poor run started with Palace beating Liverpool 2-1 at Palace’s Selhurst Park to end the latter’s seven game unbeaten start to the 2025-2026 season and Glasner is aiming at repeating the win over Liverpool.
“We will go to win. We go there…and we go there to win the game and to play in the best possible way.”

“It’s a great team. I don’t know why (they have recently lost form) it’s not my job to analyse what happens at Liverpool.”

“We rely on what we can do and on what we want to do. We can’t copy anybody else and we don’t want to copy anybody else, that’s how we’ll approach this game” Glasner said in a pre-game presser.
