In an exclusive interview with Citi Sports, Bibiani Gold Stars public relations officer, Samuel Kwagyire, has stated that the coaching limbo his outfit is dealing with won’t affect the playing unit.
He said this ahead of the club’s outstanding Ghana Premier League game against Berekum Chelsea at the Dun’s Park in Bibiani on Thursday, October 23 at 15:00 GMT.
Gold Stars are coming off a 3-1 win over Kpando Heart of Lions at the Dun’s Park; prior to the game, Heart of Lions were unbeaten.
Despite the coaching chaos at play, Kwagyire was sure the playing unit won’t be affected as the coaching search continues.

“Not at all-it won’t affect the playing unit- because looking at the rest of the technical team members who are still working with Gold Stars, we have Nana Yaw Amankwah who has taken over as interim head coach who is also a License A coach, who is also experienced.”

“We believe that he will be able to take over till we get a man who will be a substantive coach to take over” Kwagyire said.
