Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham is feeling relieved after scoring his first goal of the 2025-2026 season and his first since scoring in a 3-1 win over Pachuca in June at the FIFA Club World Cup.
The English midfielder reacted quickest to a rebound off a Vinicius Jr shot attempt to score the only goal in Real Madrid’s 1-0 win over Italian side Juventus in the UEFA Champions League.
Since the Club World Cup, Bellingham missed the entire preseason and the first month of the new season as he recovered from surgery on a shoulder injury; he also missed out on England games in September and October.
“It’s a great feeling, a long time now since I’ve scored. To score a winner, here at home, it’s unbelievable. I felt comfortable, really good. To play well was important, and to score the winning goal helps the team a lot” Bellingham said to CBS after the game.

The win over Juventus comes ahead of Madrid’s clash with FC Barcelona in the El Clasico on Sunday, October 26 at the Santiago Bernabeu. Madrid have a two point lead over Barcelona.
